White Curtain Poles

White wooden curtain poles create a crisp, architectural appearance that works particularly well within lighter interiors, contemporary spaces and classic country homes. The painted finish softens the detailing of the Woodland collection while maintaining the strength, proportions and craftsmanship of each design. Handcrafted in our North Yorkshire workshop from solid ash, all of our Woodland white curtain pole designs are available in white across multiple lengths and both 40 mm and 50 mm diameters. The Radley, Seymour and Millfield designs work especially well within painted interiors.

Our white painted finish incorporates a subtle hint of grey to soften the brightness, while the soft sheen finish and gentle grain shadowing add depth and authenticity to the painted surface. All white curtain poles are finished with a durable soft sheen varnish, helping to protect the painted finish while providing smooth curtain movement for many years of everyday use.

White curtain pole sets are available in both 40 mm and 50 mm diameters. Both sizes are suitable for medium and heavy weight curtains when correctly supported with the appropriate brackets. Crafted from Solid Ash

All Woodland white curtain pole sets are crafted from solid Canadian white ash, selected for its strength, stability and attractive grain character. As a natural material, subtle variations in grain and texture should always be expected. Every component is carefully selected within our North Yorkshire workshop to ensure each finished curtain pole set sits together beautifully as a complete piece.

Depending on the finish selected, the timber is either stained or painted before several coats of clear protective varnish are applied. This produces a durable soft sheen finish while allowing the subtle character of the solid ash beneath to remain visible. Every finish is hand applied to achieve excellent depth of colour, an even surface and the high standard of finish associated with every Cope & Timmins curtain pole.
